Mums and Bubs

The program was designed with busy mums in mind. it gives space for mum to learn to swim while her baby is being taken care of in a safe environment, followed by a lesson for bub with mums help.

We are always working hard to bring mums and bubs programs throughout the year. They are usually run in line with school terms, and can span between 10-11 weeks.

The structure of the program allows for mum to have her lesson (baby free) for half an hour, while her baby is being taken care of. Once mum’s lesson is finished, it is followed by a swimming class for the babies

Mums and their babies of course! The baby lessons cater for babies 6 months to 3 years

  • Swim lessons for mum are half an hour (30 minutes) each
  • Swim lessons for baby are also half an hour (30 minutes) each

Costs of the lessons vary between locations, and are usually made clear on announcement of the program.

Swim Sisters will invoice you the cost of participating in the program, which will need to be paid in full before commencing. We are happy to assist those facing financial stress, which can be discussed by getting in touch with us via email – [email protected]

Unfortunately due to the logistics involved in substituting your place in the lesson with another mum and baby, we can’t offer this perk at this stage.

Due to the 10 week school term structure of the programs, we can’t offer make up sessions.

The woman-only status of the pool will vary between locations. Detailed information on this aspect will be given on announcement of programs.

MS 24 Hour Swim

The 24 hour Mega Swim is a swim relay, where participants can swim any stroke they desire, at any pace they’re comfortable with to raise funds to support those living with MS.

Being a relay will mean that participants take turns and can swim for a period of time they are comfortable with.

Basic swim skills like being able to float and confidently move around in the pool are criteria to be able to participate.

You can swim for as long or short as you like! We work together to create a schedule depending on the availability of participants – so even those early hours of the morning are covered!
